Biography

Hey, I’m Raquel Calvo—producer, storyteller, and proud Madrid native.

My love for film started early, during family movie nights that turned into weekly traditions. One film that stuck with me was The Invention of Hugo Cabret, especially the scene that nods to Georges Méliès’ A Trip to the Moon. It opened my eyes to the magic behind the camera, and I’ve been chasing that spark ever since.

I’ve since followed that passion across continents, from Spain to the United States, where I’m now based in Los Angeles, continuing to create stories through film. Along the way, I’ve balanced life as a Student-Athlete, playing soccer for both Real Madrid and the Academy of Art University. That experience taught me how to lead under pressure, adapt quickly, and stay grounded—skills that translate directly to life on set.

So far, I’ve produced over 20 projects, from short films and music videos to branded content and commercials. I love the hustle of production: the problem-solving, the teamwork, and the moment when everything comes together on screen.

At the heart of it all, I’m here to tell stories that connect—ones that make you feel, reflect, and maybe even see the world a little differently. I’m always up for a challenge, and I bring the same drive to set that I did to every match I ever played.
